Operation Oklahoma
The Schuyler Peterson Toy Drive Foundation was able to donate more than 300 toys and 200 notebooks to the
Boxes Of Love Foundation.  These toys were placed in the boxes to be taken to Moore, Oklahoma on August 2nd
thru the 4th, 2013, Tabitha traveled with Boxes Of Love to help bring the boxes and school supplies to the
children affected by the storm.  After a very long drive to Oklahoma we arrived at Buck Thomas park were we were
met by numerous Plaza Towers Elementary school families affected by the storm.  We also met Norma, who
offered to be our chaperon for our weekend there and took us to the site of where Plaza Towers Elementary
School sat.  I was privileged to speak to a parent who took the biggest loss of the storm, a child.  We went to the
Oklahoma Baptist Children's Home and spent time with parent less children giving out Boxes Of Love.  Then we
went to the Oklahoma Federal Bombing Memorial and paid respect to those who lost their lives.  From there we
went to the Ronald McDonald House where we spent time and volunteered to help the families of children residing
at the nearby Children's Hospital.  With so many memories I have taken from this trip, the one I will always have to
treasure is the brick from the Plaza Towers Elementary School that I was able to bring home and place in my
